Creme de la Creme is no longer accepting reservations
This extraordinary 2 story home was built by Dr. O.M. Heartsill in 1900. The house introduced a new trend in architecture at that time, a blend of modified Second Empire French influence and Victorian. It is built of hardwoods from the area and has the original wavy windows, gorgeous wood floors, high ceilings, pocket doors, beautiful chandeliers, 6 fireplaces, spacious rooms, a wraparound porch, and a cottage out back. The home exudes warmth and charm and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood a few blocks east of the town square, the court house, downtown shops and fine restaurants.
There are plenty of areas in the home to relax, read, watch a DVD or Satellite TV,
or play games, check email (with wireless hi speed internet), or have a snack. Three beautifully decorated theme guest rooms are located on the second floor off the spacious sitting room and each have private baths. The ivy covered cottage is comfy and cozy and a delightful hideaway.
